In most cases the furniture will be picked up and finished at the studio of The Iron Petunia. When refinishing kitchens, the cabinet boxes are finished on the premises and the doors are taken off and finished at the studio. This is done so a factory style finish can be applied by spraying the doors for an even smooth finish. Water based lacquer, chalk paint, milk paint are a few of the products used on cabinetry and furniture. Several styles of finishes are available.
Wooden sample pieces are painted, or stained to help you better visualize the finished piece.
